Jigs

These Jigs have been working GREAT in Colorado. The Largemouth bass have bee eating them up.

Don't know if the color would work, but hopefully something takes it.

1/8oz round head weedless finesse jig with an F-12 weedguard and a 3" custom made mini craw trailer in green pumpkin pattern. 3/0 Mustad 32798 flat eye hook.

Not a good pic but it is a 3/16oz round head jig, it is weedless and has an F-12 weedguard. The trailer is a custom made 3" zipper craw and the color pattern I call summer craw.

Some ice jigs for gills and perch. #12 vmc hooks, 1.75 grams .65" long! should be killer!

As you can see in the picture, I used the "Perfect Finesse Worm Rig" to make this swim jig. I re-coated the head with powder paint and added a skirt spreader which is made of the cap that covers the small needle of my insulin pens. I cut off the enclosed end of the cap, then pushed it up onto the hook shank, wedged a tooth pick in it to make it tight then epoxied it. Next I hand tied a skirt and Presto you have a swim jig. The design of the hook acts as a keel and keeps the point up.
