Designed a soft bait for wacky rigging and found a PEFECT hook for the wacky rig!!! This hook never lets go like the finesse gap hooks!! Added some silicone for more attraction!!! Killer on smallies!!! Jim

3oz spearhead jigs, 7/0 hook. Heads dipped in vynil paint, with pearlescent sparkle clearcoat. The olive bucktail in the skirt is home-dyed, and there's a pinch of krystal flash in there. I tie these mainly for california halibut, where a heavy but fairly compact jig works very well, although often I'll tip them with a small strip of squid.

Looking to find someone that can pour a jig in this shape

I saw a tutorial on using bondo to make a mold for jigs and, of-course had to try it. ( don't remember who did it but thank you!) I am impressed at how well the stuff holds up to heat. Anyway, the jig weighs 3 ounces with a 7/0 hook.

Rusty Crayfish, Old Hippy Brand Bass Jigs Custom Bass Series Jig. Custom paint on the head using layered powder applied by brush. Heat the jig with a heat gun, and load the brush, and tap the handle of the brush to let a light amount of powder fall stratigicly on the head. Base layer is Pumpkin brown, accent layers in brown/red, white dots, and transparent copper. Harden paint, then apply diamond clear coat, and harden again.

These are 6.5oz megabait-style jigs cast from a home-made mold. They have been foiled with aluminum tape, and are now ready for painting.
