Bomber "twin spin" spinnerbait frame

Here's a closeup of the twin spin bending "jig". This section is the 'vee' blade arm of the spinnerbait.
This closeup is provided as a reference photo for my post in the thread "Old Spinnerbait, anyone ever saw it before? in the wire baits forum.
Instructions for bending the vee blade arms:
Step 1) Bend an approx 8" piece of wire into a tight 'vee' shape. The point of the vee will be the line tie.
Step 2) Bend a 45* angle in both legs of the vee, about 1/4" from the point.
Step3) You need a simple "forming mandrel" made of a piece of wire for this part. Take a piece of wire (or a finishing nail or similar) slightly larger in diam than the wire you're using, and place it crosswise inside the 45* angle. Grab the mandrel and wire with a pair of needlenose pliers so that the mandrel is crosswise in the jaws, and the wire legs of the vee stick out forward of the jaws.
Step4) Last step. By hand, bend the legs of the vee twice around the mandrel. Keeping the wraps tight is easy, but like everything else in life, one or two practice wraps using softer/thinner wire makes everything easier.
Connect the blade wire vee form to the spinnerbait jighead by bending a "Y" yoke in the jighead wire. That part is done freehand and is fairly straight-forward, so I'll let you figure out your preferred method there.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Pivot Point Spinnerbait

4/0VMC Blk Nickel Needlecone, .035 Super Stainless Wire, weighs just a little over 1/2 oz.
Four Prominent Qualities Of This Spinnerbait Make It Different From Others
1. Its vertical stance and the unique position or angle of the hook as it trails through the water. Most bass caught on it are hooked in the roof of the mouth.
2. The ease with which it swims through brush without getting snagged.
3. The vibration it emits from such a small blade.
4. Several of them will fold and fit in almost any slot that will hold a crankbait, no need for a hanging bait box with this lure.
To lessen the absorbing effect of the weight on main frame vibrations, a 3/8oz. weight is molded around the hook shank which allows the blade and frame wire to vibrate to its full potential. The hook/head assembly is not rigidly attached to the main frame wire and produces fewer hang-ups with the hook swinging up, down and side to side as it crashes into brush and rocks. Twisted swivel loop virtually ends losing blades. The pivoting head allows the hook to slice through the water at a different angle than other spinnerbaits and positions the hook point to penetrate the roof of the mouth of a striking fish. Stays near vertical, even when waking the surface!
Sorry about the long winded write-up. I have been making this for a little over a year now and havn't found anything that resembles it on any tackle site or web page. I usually throw a 4½ Barlows Premium Willowleaf on it but this pic shows it off better.

a couple of odd musky lures
Here are a couple of large musky lures. One odd thing with a couple of number ten blades and another number eight on the shaft with a number eight willow on the swivel. One buzz bait made a little differently than most. It has a Treble hook with the lower point cut off. Musky Glenn
