I painted my baitcast 2 weeks ago!turns out very nice and cool!!!I painted it in a firetiger gold scales pattern!Let me know if you like it??Cheers,Dan

got bored with the standard look and this site has an influence so i got busy personalising first i split the grip then decided the standard rubber butt cap looked rubbish so made a new one at work you can see the befoe and after :) "find a penny pick it up and all the day you'll have good luck" i believe thats the saying. its also moved the balance about an inch towards the reel was about 2" before :yeah:

Painted one of my old Quantums up in a color called Chili Pepper. Painted with auto air paints and cleared with 3 coats of Dupont Chromaclear.

Here are the fist three rods that I have made. The one on the top of the picture is the first one I made and the one in the middle is the most recent, the last one is my second. All have hypalon grips and the 2nd and third ones have nickle-silver/tich winding checks. Feedback appreciated.

Newest project. Dedicated rod for big swimbaits. Carbon fiber skinned urethane foam handle. EVA Butt, and foregrip cap. 12" rear grip, 4" foregrip. 7'11.5" butt to tip, 1 to 6 oz lures, 15 - 30# line, total built weight - 7.4 oz.

Hey fellow anglers, New guy here...I'm sure alot of you guys and gals out there have seen G Blanks before..if not, here is one of mine. 6'4" MH Split rear handle w/xposed reel seat..Bright Chat. with red highlight wrap..the rod weighs in at 3 ozs and is built on the Shakari SH-X blank..and a nice Chronarch 100MG mounted in seat .Thanks
