I was just swim teasting a Waddle Bat copy I've been working on and got unexpectedly rewarded with a nice fish! Nice copy and fish!! Notice you have your bat wing pinched between two half spheres. Correct me if wrong but doesn't the original just have the one on top?
I don't actually own an original... I was just going off of a website that had pretty good views of the different colors of original waddle bats... apart from this lure, I can't seem to get the same "darting from side to side" action... I agree with ( I think it was Ben...) who said it wasn"t really "hunting" but i really like the erratic action this bait has and want to duplicate it if I can....
