Lots of glitter in this pattern that doesn't show up in the pic. This bait is one of my handmade lures, and my attempt to break the sound barrier (aka 20' deep) without having the lure pull like a 4X4 truck. It weighs 1oz and comes in at just a hair over 6.25" long, and hopefully it's aerodynamically sound so it won't turn cartwheels on the cast. PVC body, 1/8" lexan bill, stainless steel hardware, Createx paint and E-tex topcoat.

First off, thanks for the explaination of how the bait came about. Most just throw a pic up there and expect some sort of comment. So thanks for that.

As far as your bait goes, it has that futuristic look about it. Nice fade in with the colors. Makes your paint stand out.

Thanks guys! Still trying to get better all the time. A friend of mine summed it up pretty well: When you think you're as good as you can be, you might as well quit. Those weren't his exact words, but that's the gist of it.

Fatfingers and Rowhunter (and Solarfall, and Big M, and Jeep, and Tigger, and too many others to count), you guys have been an inspiration to me to always try to become a better lure builder and painter. I'm a heck of a lot better at both building and painting than I was six months ago, and hopefully that trend will continue.

I still drool when I look at Fatfingers' albums here on TU.
