W-Bug #3 "Wonder Bug" replica

I finally finished up the three bugs that I posted a week or so ago, but haven't got to try them out yet. Here is the perchie looking one with hardware and wings installed. The paint is rattle can except for the pupils of eyes, I dabbed them on with a tooth pick. The perch stripes were sprayed through a comb and the wings are paint brush bristles. This one has a belly weight near the tail and when dangled by the hook hangs with the tail down at about a 45 degree angle.

I have a bait like that down in the basement. It belonged to my father and I keep it to remind me of the link between us in the way of time on the water.

I like the way you did the side fins with hair. Very nice.

Thanks guys, glad someone else likes this old style stuff. I seem to be eat up with it, LOL. Maybe I'll round up the replicas that I still have and have my daughter (clikchikphoto.com) take a group photo for me to post.

And Dweller, the paint is Krylon. I don't own an airbrush.
