Fruit Salad

tropical color scheme

Fruit Salad

There have been several of what I call "tropical" color schemes that have been fairly popular here in Texas lately. Thinking along those lines this is what I came up with. Square billed medium depth diver built from Paulownia wood with 4 grams ballast. The paints are Createx and Auto Air with Bob Smith epoxy top coat. The colors are transparent bright yellow, transparent Caribbean blue, black splatter on the back and fluorescent orange belly. Everything sprayed over a white base coat.

Mighty clean craftsmanship there Rayburn. Well done.......Joe

    Thanks Joe.

And thanks Brent and Hokie. Didn't mean to be disrespectful and leave you guys out.

Thats a beauty how did you the effect on the back and to what depth would it dive?

     great work

Thanks Crankie. The back is just black splatter paint. Instructions on how I did it on this particular bait can be found at the link below. The diving depth should be somewhere in the 8 to 10 foot range.

Awesome bait and beautiful colors. To modest.
