salmo style lure

New Paint 11 19 2013 002

After hearing discussions about the Salmo Slider glide baits I looked them up on the web and found that they also made these in a top water bait. This is a floating walker using that style of lure. Three inches long, carved out of Paulownia and foiled with Brite-Bak tape. Painted in the Rapala perch pattern with Createx and Auto Air paints. Bob Smith 30 minute epoxy sealer and top coat. A sinking glider using this body style is in the future. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

I like too Ben. Looks great! The foil gives it just the right touch.

Wow...very cool. The paint and foil look great. I was wondering if you made another, maybe paint like a turtle? I want one. All you guys post pics of great lures and art, all of which, every time I think....I want one. Ryan.

Thanks Ryan. Your making some nice baits yourself. If there's some things you haven't tried, such as foiling, then there's plenty of help to be had here at TU.

Paul Adams on youtube is a great teacher to, I have watched alot of his videos.
