Bluegill Color on the lipless Crankbait

This is a Bluegill Colorway I did not to long ago, I feel that bluegill is a harder color for me to paint. Sometimes I just cant seem to pull it off. Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks Guys,

Dakota Lakes tackle has a good video on you tube. Sometimes less paint and not so sharp transitions I find make my attempts look better.

i like to lay a light greenish brown over the white base to kinda give it a more natural look and i leave the very bottom white to where you can only see white from the bottom. the more you experiment wit the bluegill pattern to see what YOU like, the better.
