It is a piece of mylar tube, used for fly tying, enclosed the two halves of an injection mould.

Dear Ben, thank you very much, i'm honoured of your comment. It's a really simple thing to do, You have only to find the right way to block the piece of mylar inside your preffered swimbait mould.

Bye.

Ive been trying to find a way to do an insert and have not had good results. Those look amazing!!!. So that is just a piece of mylar tubing? it looks wider than that on a couple of the plastics but that may just be how reflective it is. You just position it in the mold and inject around it? it doesn't melt?

Dear JDNO7, simply cut a pc. of mylar tube, with a dia. proportioned to the bait body, in 2 pcs. per length and glue them on the incave of valves with paper glue. In such way the mylar texture will be immediately down a thinner skin of plastic.

Bye.
