I recently built this 9' #5 white MHX Fly rod. I used horizontal wave cork for the grip, a buffalo nickel as the butt cap, and glow in the dark thread for an added touch

Do the blanks come with ferrules like that?

No the blanks come completely naked. I wrapped the ferrules with glow in the dark thread
