This lure is completely from scratch. The outside is copper that I shaped then drilled. Then I use one  stainless steel wire loop it through the nose, this make two eyelets on the back. After that the tag ends are wrapped to the standing wire. Then I make an 1/8  stainless steel barbed spike to tie the skirt and the barb is to add bait or soft plastics. That way the hooks are free floating. The rattle displaces more than an ounce of lead. The hookshooks are rigged with 100 lb fluorocarbon snelled. It weighs 3 1/2 ounces. The thread is glued then covered in hear shrink tubing to protect the Achilles heel of any tied lure.
