I imagine the scales in your lure reflect light the same way as a real baitfish does.

This reflective light can be observed when an actual baitfish makes a sudden swerving, or side to side motion.

When you see an actual baitfish do this you instantly notice, and so does the predator fish!

Yes, the light reflects on the highest point and cast a shadow in the lowest, which catches the eye at any angle. Foil can bring life to a bait. It's a tedious process, although a rewarding one. Thanks for the interest!

I can spot your baits a mile down the road regardless of the paint scheme.  It's hard to put a finger on it, but there is a level of refinement or a certain clean look that gives yours away.  At first glance, it's obvious that a lot of time and skill went into them.
