I hear you. I've got a wall full of trophies fishing my own stuff. Most people don't understand that in well fished lakes the fish start to learn what hurts them.

Have to disagree. This year I've caught at least 8 bass that had hooks stuck in their mouths or gullets. Thank God they don't remember seeing other bass getting caught on lures or we'd never catch a thing! There's a cool video on YouTube where a spoon with dead minnow caught one perch in a school just hanging out near bottom under the ice and then perch after perch being caught on the same lure.  I was in a tournament and caught a pickerel. It snapped my line and do you know - I caught that same fish 45 minutes later with my lure still stuck in it's mouth!  But one thing about lure design I have a theory about: There are those that catch fish most of the time and those that can't.  Mr.Twister grubs can't for example.

Our mission is to discover designs that do better than most others for reasons we may never know for sure but have a clue.
