This is a 3D printed articulated snake lure I designed.  It is about 12" in length but can be made to any desired length. It  was airbrushed in a Northern Water Snake pattern.

Yeah that is really cool. I wanted to get a 3d printer and start doing that but I thought the lures would break 3d printing material seems too flimsy for lures. But I'm sure there are tougher materials you can use. Also the Contest Rules say you can do multiple pictures in a collage like you did, how do you do that?

I use Makergear M2's. They are on the higher end (price wise) of consumer 3D printers but there are some good cheaper printers out there too if you want to get into 3d printing.  As for my lures I do not sell them... they take too much time to print, assemble, and paint for them to be worth selling (in my opinion) so I just make them for myself.

Those things used to scare the dickens out of me when I was a kid. I can remember 15 of them confronting me at amy favorite fishing hole. They stand up in the water and wave back and forth like aquatic cobras. Great job on the lure. But it still freaks me out a little.
