Vibrating Crawfish Jig

This crawfish jig is a crankbait. When you pull up, it swims and rattles. When it falls back to the bottom, the floating body keeps the hooks off the bottom while the little arms (skirt material) look like the last defense of a cornered crawfish. I wanted to make a jig that wouldn’t snag up in the river. I can quarter cast it and walk it down river without snags. Changing the weight on the bill allows it go from a suspended bait to fish shallow or a one ounce deep water lure.
