These look great!  Do you find it difficult to fit the lips after painting and clear coating?  It looks like you are able to keep the lip sots really clean.

Very interesting! You are able to get the lips in and bend the wire after the paint and epoxy?  How do you get that wire bent so cleanly?   Also, I have trouble with this, how do you mount a large 'lipless' lure on a lure turner?

I'm also curious how you mount them on the turner. And how you'll get the wire bent through the lip at this point.

These were done for a customer and I asked him the same question. The line tie wire goes through lead in the metal lips and wrapped to the main wire.
