A bluegill swimbait I painted a couple of years ago, and then proceeded to put it in a Plano box and forget about it.  It's back in the boat, getting ready for a swim next time out.  I have several more of the blanks that I'm going to do in the darker pumpkinseed color scheme.  Those will be my next paint project.

nice work mark

It is slow sink with #4 short shank EWG triple grip hooks, faster sink with #2s.  I wanted it to be a glide bait, but it has a much  shorter swim cycle, not a big, slow S like I was hoping for.  I'll play around with the joint opening to see if I can get the action I want.

But does it catch fish

Not so far, but I've only fished it a little.  I need to alter the joint gap to get the glide I want.  It's 8:30 pm here and it's still 91 degrees.  Tomorrow is another day, especially early in the morning when it's only 75!  I'm headed for bed.  Talk to you tomorrow.
