swimbait with joing spader 2.jpg

I wanted this 4" bluegill swimbait to glide, instead of flap, so I super glued a piece of 1/16" lexan to the place in the joint where the two pieces meet, and this is what it looks like.  The joint moves just like the R2S glidebait above it.  I will take it out for a test swim on Monday, if I don't melt first.

The lexan shims made the difference!  It glides just line the R2S bait.  Now all I need to do is put it in front of some hungry fish!
