8" Upper Michigan Maple Body

"Lead Lock" thru wire construction. Similar to previous lures, but the wire is pulled throug the lead hole and cut which allows me to draw the wire wraps in on both sides of the bait. Tunnel is 1/8" bit, recessed portion is bored out ot 1/4" using a forstener bit. Loops are fixed in place with epoxy then finally 1 ounce of Molten lead in the belly hole locks the two ends of the wire in place.

Paint recipe:

All createx colors: White base. Dark brown on top half of the lure. Peralized gold scales using a large mesh pattern. Black scales along lateral line using a smaller small mesh pattern. Fl sunburst orange highlight beneath gill. Black gill stencil and black back.

Bouyancy (with hooks) is near neutral. Sits slightly nose down to hopefully dive on the pull. Can't wait to test it out.

I'm gonna give credit where it is due on the dual scale which is not my idea. I have been admiring Danczyk lures and he has some awsome scale jobs which baffle me as to how he does it. Inspiration came from him.
