Musky Jerkbait

I can't wait to start throwing jerkbaits at the muskies again this year. Last year I came up two successful prototype jerkbaits. One I decided to call the Slopehead and the other the Shovelhead (I think both are posted in the Gallery). This one is a combination of the features of those two prototypes.

Its carved from maple, unweighted, with watercolor stripes and pearl scale accents on the bottom, and twin side-mounted front hooks. Hope you like it.

Nice piece of work , that you've done , does it sink ?

Just asking , because I once mailordered a maple blank from a Wisconsin tackle shop , after having assembled all hardware , it almost didn't float up anymore .

Thanks, guys.

Rj, I haven't used a double-front treble since the days of the old flatfish, but I'm confident it will work. I put 3/0's on the front so they won't tangle together..
