Shad bait

Finally getting around to getting pictures up of stuff I have been working on the last couple of months. This is a 7.75" shad bait, crappy paint on this one (shows you what I do to baits for my personal use ;)) but you can get the general idea. I'll get a few more refined photos up hopefully within the next week or so.

Very nice. You make some of the finest baits I have seen. I too have been making my baits with the door type hinge inspired in no small part by your baits. I actually made one very similar to this one with three hinges and a lexan tail like the 3:16 baits. I would love to pic your brain some time and compare notes on this method of doing this style of hinges. Again, very nice.

A very nice one for sure , makes me wonder , which material you have used ?

Looks like cast plastic to me , but I guess , that it must be something else ?

Ah, I was wondering when I'd see some new ones from you Nate! I absolutely LOVE your designs and this is another great example of why. I'm working on my own new molded swimbaits for this year and you've been a big inspiration. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the compliments! I just put a picture up of what the final version of these baits ended up as. Boarderbasser, just saw your comment it sounds like you probably don't need to pick my brain much as we seemingly think alike! Well back to sorting through some photos to see if I can find anything else interested/helpful to put up (lots of new stuff/prototypes in the workshop and tacklebox)
