Green River Minnow

This is a 6-7" swimbait that I make from Featherlite. The tail is Lexan. A close friend described the pattern from memory of a bait that he has long since lost and wanted to see on one of my baits. He was excited with the result. Please give some honest opinions.

Thanks for looking.

Super crisp work. I like how the scales arc over from the nose to the high point on the back and then down toward the tail. And that red lateral line is something I'm going to try to incorporate into a few patterns. It really seems to pull those colors together. There is a bait fish called a dace that has a similar stripe if I recall correctly.

It is somehow unlike the other swimbaits posted in here , a distinctive style of it's own:yes: !

The way of joining the sections , the attachement of the tail and also the "stepped" transitions between the single sections really make this bait very unique .

I also like the way , that it is painted , especially the lateral line perfectly aligned section for section:yes: .

But please forgive me , the tail fin pattern look reminded me somehow of an ancient dinosaur fossil at the very first glance:huh::huh:.........but this surely only adds to the lures unique look .

You have really achieved something special , it's a great lure !

greetz :yay:, diemai

The more I look at this one the more I like it. At first glance I wasn't sure about the stepped back line but it works. Your paint, the lateral red line and the way the it's jointed really pull this bait together. Nice graceful third section also. To pull this off from a simple description from your buddy is fantastic. He should be pleased. I'd love to have one in my ever growing arsenal. :yay:

Unique and beautiful!

I love your design, paint scheme, and hinges.

And the tail attachment is truly unique. You clever devil! :worship:

Do you drill the pin holes after you cast the sections, or are the pin holes part of the molds?
