Solid resin JB's

Last couple of weeks I build some solid resin jerkbaits.

These ones don't have the regular gliding action like most gliders but an unpredictable glide with a wiggling action. While at rest it floats which gives possibilities to fool around with the bait.

With it's 14cm and 45gr quite a small bait.

However it can be put away over nice distances. They cast like bullets.

I've always liked this paint combo. Ever since I was a kid throwing the basserino (sp?) with the red/white paint I was hooked. Sounds like you get some nice swimming action with these. The line tie up top probably aids in that wobble. Well done, love the clean shape.

That is correct, the line tie together with the body shape and right weighting creates this type of action. As for the colour, simplicity can be great looking. Usually I paint schemes which take more time but now and then I love doing those straight forward colours. They work good for catching too.
