Very nice!!!! Did you paint the reel yourself or did someone else? I would love to get more info on painting reels like that.

Yes, I did it.You need to disassemble the reel completly. Sand (fine) the parts you like to paint. Cover all parts who have to be protected from the paint and paint it. I used Createx Auto Air aluminum base to undercoat it and spaklescent mango and transparent black to paint it. After paiting have you to "burn in" the paint. I used my oven and set the temperatur to 60

can you heat set that paint with a hair dryer or a heat gun?
