here are some 3inch flatsided crankbaits I made the other day. They are made of balsa and are half inch thick, they weigh in at around a half ounce. Just went a tested these today and discovered that the one with a steeper bill has a wobble when it floats up, also the it can be ran as a wake bait if reeled in really slow and if reeled in at a medium rate it dives to about 5 to 7 feet.The one with the little bit flatter bill has a deeper dive of about 7-9 feet, but doesnt have a wobble when it floats up:?. But today while i was testing them i caught i 16 inch large mouth. That prolly isnt very big, but at the lake i was testing it at the average bass there is about 10 inches or less:lolhuh:. Oh ya this is my first fish ever on a crankbait to:yeah:. well anywho thanks for all your help guys, really i would of never figured out how to make a crankbait without all the information that everyone contributes here.
