It was cool.. then I got out the HOT PORN RED.

Have you ever painted a bait and said.. it looks good but it needs something else.. then you do that something else.. and you say.. WHY DID I DO THAT!!! then you keep messin with it for hours and hours and hours.. and you actually start to believe it's cool again.. Or it could just be you worked on it so dam long that you say " I LOVE IT!" and it grows on you. Well this is an original because I WILL NEVER PAINT THIS PATTERN ever again.. First the red then I outlined the red with black all in all it took me 2 days to paint. I had to take alot of breaks..

Hilarious write-up. I've been in that predicament many times. I'll do that one extra thing and it ends up being the door that opens and ends up changing the whole look. More than not I end up starting over and asked "why did I do that". Sometimes however it leads to something better, so it's worth it like in this case.

Dude,

Put the pipe down and step back. :lol:

I do that kind of stuff often, since I'm no painter. I've got lures with three layers of paint and finish, because I kept "improving" them just a little, and wound up hating the scheme after it was finished.

Kind of adds to the ballast, but, what the hay.

For what it's worth, that's a fun scheme.

it looks like a striper tried to eat it, but then it realized that tater made it and was like OH SNAP! but then it was to late! he swallowed it and then a couple weeks later tater found the striper on the shore and this was in his thoat!

Well needless to say the striper ripped what he could off the lure and only to find that the lure was to AMAZING for him to eat and he just decided to go see how land life would be....

Well sad to say the striper died and made a lure that looked pretty wicked.... tater then took the fame for it.

Wow im bored:huh::lol:

Great looking lure tater! lol I bet it took forever to paint that thing. I would of gave up at the face lol
