very nice color scheme,btw if you would have painted the layer under the scales with something darker it would have made the scales pop up even more.

they were painted black, just that the top colors are "basecoat" and not "transparent".. was thinking next time to add more interclear to the paint, i just didnt want it too watery. im sort of limited on paint at the moment. but the picture doesnt show it as well as in person.
