Don`t know what to say as I don`t know what you did......

That happens a lot on here. Guys post a pic of their work but with no explanation of what they did.

All the above said in a "friendly" tone..... :)

Hey Braided Line,

Well this is the one color that I just had to duplicate. It is the original wiggle wart color called MO crawfish. I took my painted Wiggle Warts and stripped them down to clear baits. I put on a base coat of opaque white and then it was an all day trial of mixing colors to get the hughes that I wanted. I have 3 different colors. The olive back, the cinnamonish sides, and the orangeish belly color. I tried to get the back and sides as close a match as possible. The belly color I changed a little bit because I never cared for the original belly color. It was too flo. red for me. The stencil pattern I tried to trace off an original wart and then transferred it to mylar and cut it out. It's a little sharper edged than the original due cutting with the exacto knife. It was mainly just playing with colors all day to get what I wanted. Ironically, I actually mixed Wal-Mart Flow Art and Createx transparent and opaques all together. They seemed to work o.k. but I did have to thin pretty good to get the flowability I wanted. All in all I am very happy with my result and believe I got about a 90% color match.quote name='Braided Line' date='18 September 2010 - 06:24 AM']
