This was a test cut in preperation for my first attempt to cut a lead mold. I think George posted some pictures of the finished bait he made from the mold. I'll look around and see if I can find any pictures of the finished mold. So far its my only lead mold. George says it pours pretty good. I never poured it before I sent it off to him. I am working on the designs for a hidden weight spinnerbait, but also a hidden weight worm weight. I need to do some modeling and volume calculations for what I want. Not sure I really want to get into cutting my own lead molds all that heavily though. I barely have enough time to pour my own plastics, and the Dual Concept spinnerbaits I get from Manuel at King Cobra Tackle are pretty darn good. |
