Refoiled the face part, and I think I made a little bit progress :-)

Not perfect, but overall, satisfied with the foiling process.

Currently it slightly floats. Hopefully I can get it suspends after adding lip and epoxy.

And I love this 3 inch balsa minnow! Can't wait to get it done!

Much better. Those intricate details can be a pain to apply foil over. Don't get locked into using just one tool to burnish your foil. Pretty much anything that is smooth and won't tear the foil can be used. Toothpicks, tongue depressors, the barrels off of ink pens, etc.

Thanks, Ben. I did use toothpick on this one. It was painful to work with foil and glue, but I feel worth it when it was done.
