Just in time for Halloween. Hand brush painted, hand carved Tennessee charmer. Can't let the Alabama folks have all the fun. Looks very good! How well does it swim? Did you weight the front body at all?
Thank you.
It swims well when rigged. Slight turn to orientate itself at start of pull then smooth, level and straight. Position of wires and what is attached to them really dictates how this swims. The only weight is all that stainless. Vic Thats a meat looking little critter, Does it BITE. Good Job
John nice rig should do the trick
Nice work, You mastered that quickly!!
Thank you Gentlemen for your kind words and vote of confidence. The lure will be trick or treating in Tennessee waters this weekend. Hope to fill the bag.
Vic Very cool, did you carve the head?
Thanks.
I did carve the head. There is a fantastic tutorial by Gene on homepage under tutorials. This is exactly how i did it. Vic I purchased one of the originals from Andy back in Aug and the lure body of the rig in front never sits upright in the water on every cast..sometimes it is upsidedown on retrive sometimes it is on its side and sometimes it is rightside up.. but none of that really matters. That bait body just holds the wires together..once you pull your baits on retrieve all the baits run correctly and turn upright because of the swivals. side up.. but none of that really matters. That bait body just holds the wires together..once you pull your baits on retrieve all the baits run correctly and turn upright because of the swivals.
