curtisb
Tried powder and vinyl paints in gold but they are not what I am wanting. They do not shine. I need a gold paint that shines, have seen it on a couple of factory made baits, like chatterbaits. Any ideas what to do? Thanks for your help! Saugerman
You can always put a coat of D2T over it,and it will shine.
cadman
If you are looking for a finish like actual gold, you will have to have your jigs gold plated. However that is fairly expensive as there is a lot charge.
JBlaze
You can also mix very fine gold glitter in your epoxy clear coat. this gives a very shiny gold finish. John
smalljaw
Chatterbaits, war eagle spinnerbaits, and other shiny gold finishes you see are plated and there isn't a paint that will replicate it. Anglinarcher
All of the above. You can buy gold paint in so many different brands, but in the end, if you don't clear coat them, they will not shine like real gold.
