I have just made a mold for jig trailers out of aluminum. Is there anything I need to do to prep the mold or is it good to go as is. I am working at making a 4.5" drop shot worm also. I would apreciate any advice since I have never poured before. Thanks Mark

Hey Mark,
Welcome to the site. As far as I know if your mold is made out of aluminum you're good to go. I haven't read about any prepping necessary when working with aluminum. You might try sending Del-Mart a quick private message...he's the pro when it comes to working with aluminum. You can check out his molds on his web-site: www.del-mart.com, he makes some pretty cool stuff.
