gone2long Posted February 27, 2014 Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 Lureworks has a new waterbased paint for soft plastics but I think you still need to dip the bait afterwards, they also still have the original paint that is quite toxic to breath but I'm told it does a great job and I think it is more permanent than the waterbased without dipping but I have no personal use with it. mark poulson Posted February 27, 2014 Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) I use solvent based sharpies, and just retouch it when it fades or kind of blurs. The Spikeit scented markers work, too, the ones you use to color soft plastics, but all of them are dyes, and will eventually creep and blur, and lose that crisp look you get at first.
