Powder Painting Jigs Question

Recommended Posts

When powder coating do you guys leave in the pin from the mold, put in a
new one dedicated for painting, not use a pin, or already have a weed
guard in when painting.

I have also heard some people with put
their jigs in the toaster oven in before painting then a quick touch
with another heat source and then dip....for those of you that do
that....how long do you have it in the oven and at what temp?

Thanks

I bought the Teflon pins for powder painting jigs and heat them in a toaster oven I dip with the pin in then remove before curing the jig, timing well that really lies on how hot your toaster oven gets and what setting you use but as a rule of thumb is around 15-20 minutes for around 25 jigs hanging on rack.
