What is the best mold for a Flipping Jig?

Wow, this is a tough one. I have seen so many guys use so many different jigs for flipping. I honestly don't know what is the correct jig to use if there is a correct jig. From the people I've talked to and jigs I've made, this is what many of the guys call flipping jigs, however I don't know if one is any better than the other. Maybe someone can explain to me as well on how one is better than the other for a flipping application. Here are the ones I've had requests for. Arky, Poison  Tail and Brush jigs.

I can tell you one thing, I find the Arky and Poison Tail, molds about the best multi-purpose molds for other things as well. I do have the brush jig mold, but don't fish it. On the Arky, you can use it to skip under docks and use it in open water for a swim jig. On the Poison Tail you can use that as a swim jig and a hopping jig. It has a somewhat pointed nose and does go through weeds very well.

I modified my arky mold to accept flipping hooks. I had a few complaints of the hook it calls for bending when they would skip and flip with them. I personally use the Arky for flipping wood and docks, then I use a bullet jig with a wire keeper for grass. I also cast the arky if I don't feel like retying

I use the Snootie jig for flipping and it is awesome!!! I use the 1/2oz and 5/8oz sizes, a 5/0 hook in the 1/2oz and a 6/0 in the 5/8oz. It comes through cover better than most jigs, in fact I haven't found a jig that is as good in cover. The only problem is the jig has a ball collar but I even got that one fixed by taking some 18 gauge galvanized steel wire and making a plastic keeper out of it. I make the keeper with a pair of needle nose pliers, then I tie it in, a few tight wraps to hold it, then some super glue to lock it in and finish off with a few more tight wraps and you leave enough tag on the keeper to fold over the thread wraps to really lock it in.

Hello and good morning to all. I do a lot of flipping and have the Poison Tail mold. That head goes thru about any thing. Not to screw you up on your thoughts on a type of jig to use but this is what I have been doing now for 2 years our more. Quit using a jig and went to PUNCHING SET UP !!! I make my own skirts and you can use any worm wieght (size) you want. It will go thru any thing better than a jig any day of the week. BUT NOT ROCKS. I use it like you would use a reg. jig . Swim it, our flip it down and thru weeds and wood cover, shallow our deep it works very well for me. It doesn't have the line tie to catch those pieces of grass out on the nose of the bait.  Just another thought and good luck.
