Powder Paint Oven

Recommended Posts

My electric oven is about to quit me, the door is falling off, and I am looking at a newer oven (used) that has electronic controls. On older non electronic controlled ovens the temp would vary a lot, so I put an electronic controller to keep the temp more precise. On the newer oven with electronic controls are they more precise? Does anyone have any experience with this to know if they keep a more even controlled temp?

We got a new in-wall oven a few months ago that has electronic controls.  We had a real problem with the temperature being too low until we had the installer come out, with the manual, and calibrate it.  This is supposed to be done when installed.

Now it is precise and very stable.

We just got a new oven with electronic control with a thing called "accu-Temp", the heating element is covered and because of it it takes 2 minutes longer to preheat but the temps never vary more than 2 degrees from the set temperature. If you could find one of those it would work great, I even told my wife I want to get one and all I got was a look that told me never to mention getting one for curing powder paint again.

Thanks, that's good to know.  I found a double oven that is electronic and I thought I was in tall cotton, :yeah:  but the inside of the oven's is a little smaller than the one I have and I have made special racks to hold my fishing lures and they won't fit in this double oven :nono: so back to square 1.
