jigmaster
HEy, all Anyone ever use lead shot in your pots for pouring heads? Have an opportunity to pick up a BUNCH........never used it before for pouring. Does it melt the same? Pour the same as "normal" lead? Thanks in advance JM www.daimonlures.com
Mr B
I was givin a 20lb bag of it years ago and it poured fine. I did mix it with other lead. My lead is always mixed, I get it from many different sources. I did not have any problems pouring with it, then again I havnt really had much problems with any lead yet (knock on wood). If you empty your pot after pouring, the lead shot makes it nice to put in the bottom of the pot to melt easily in the next pouring session.
