basskat
I'm looking for the old style plastic rattles that fasten to the hook shank with super glue or you melt them on. I've searched eveywhere on the web, Wal-Mart, every bait store in my area and can't come up with them. Anyone know where I might find these? All the search has produced is the skirt collar/rattle. WidowMaker
They were made by the Arkie Company. I wonder if a person could use a regular glass rattle and insert it into a piece of woven fabric wire loom and slip it onto the shank of a hook. Both ends of the wire loom then could then be glued to the shank of the hook.
basskat
I.m sure that could be done. What I'm looking for is the different sound of the plastic rattle. It had a deeper tone than the glass/plastic insert rattles.
Unagi
Basskat, Not to contradict widowmaker, but the rattles that you are searching for are still being made by the Woodies Rattle Company. I do remember that Arkie distributed the same product. I've attached the link below. Good luck, Paul Shibata http://www.woodiesrattlers.com/html/versatile_rattles.html
WidowMaker
No offense taken here.....i knew Arkie sold them but i was under the impresion they were made by a company under an exclusive contract to only supply Arkie. But of course i could be wrong.
