wire bending tools, questions/opinions

Recommended Posts

hey, i am a new member, i have read here for awhile but i just now got my registration to go thru, i am making some inline spinners for my son and myself, i have been using some round nosed pliers but i would like to make quicker, neater, and more consistent bends. i have looked at some benders in janns, barlows, and stamina books. i am looking for a decent bending tool that wont require a major investment. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Worth wire former, best bang for the buck! I have the Hagens machine, Netcraft 'Tack-L-tool', and two 'cheap' Worth wire formers, and I'd recommend the Worth tool for someone on a budget, or just starting out. It works really great!

BTW, the Worth tool can handle 0.031" wire, (& 0.035" if modified with some emery paper and some elbow grease).

:!: :!: It's also very important to wear safety glasses when working with wire!!!!!! :!: :!:
