TRChad
I was wondering if you guys use anything to clean your fresh pours with before painting. I have had a few spinnerbaits that did not want to accept paint very well after pouring. I use pure plumbers lead. Thanks for your help..TRChad
Digger_
Did you use a primer coat first?
basskat
Avoid touching the lead you intend to paint with your bare hands and lay it on a clean paper towel. The grease from your hands impedes the paint from adhering to the lead. I'm guessing your seeing spots on the lead that are nice a shiny after the first coat of paint. For some reason there's a foreign material on the lead causing this. It could be in your lead. Go back and touch these spots up with a brush. It'll stick with a brush.
