bending the wire on small trout spinners

Recommended Posts

Hello to everyone, hope you had a nice Easter. I have a boggs tacklemaker, and I am attempting to make some small spinners. The spinners I like are the small wire models that you can simply unclip on the back and change your flie. I can make the entire wire form but I am having a great deal of difficulty :?: in making the little hook that you clip and unclip to the main wire body. Any advice??? Thanks.

Sorry, I not exactly sure what you mean...Could you possibly post a picture (or find one on the Web) of what you're trying to do?

One thing you can do with the right sized wire is slide both the main shaft and the tag end into the spinner body...raise up the spinner body and you can change hooks/flies....
