deutscherfischer
I want to buy the "sparkie" jig mold from do-it but the hooks it suggests to use are crappy bronze eagle claw hooks. I was wanting to know if anyone has tried using an owner model 5317 hook instead. thanks!
WidowMaker
You can get the mold cheaper if you order it from from Barlows or Janns..... order it directly from Do-It and it will cost more.
Mr B
I know you can use that hook with the "Arkie" head mold. The "Sparkie" hook looks like it has a shorter shank on the "hook eye" arm. The Arkie ia a great, versatile jig. Its one of my best sellers. Mr B

deutscherfischer
thanks guys! i was planning to buy from barlow's. i bought a jig at kentucky lake a few years ago that was the same as the sparkie with an owner hook. i caught a 4 pounders and a 5 on that jig then lost it and couldnt find another. then i saw that mold it barlows and knew i had to buy it. i think im going to try the owner hooks because the original jig i had had that hook. i appreciate the posts thanks
