My turning wheel

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure I can properly explain how this was made but here goes anyways

It's a motor off of an old chicken roaster, it runs almost exactly at 6 rpm and holds 12 lures, 6 on one side and 6 on the other, in total and are of 4 inch lenghts

The lures are held in place using a compression fit.

The screws are held by using inserts and a nylon nut on the end

Not sure what else to say so bring on the questions.

I have small holes to keep the lure from moving around, look closely at the last picture, I think you'll see what I mean. So far this has worked very well. There's no need to reef on the bolt so there's very little stress on the wood.

The bolts are there because the unit needs to be expandable to hold 6 inch lures that I am developing, thus remove 4 bolts and I get to start all over again.
