danderson
Can u do that with polycarbonate?
Palmetto Balsa
Polycarbonate is very toxic when it is heated. I think it would be best to Polish the edges of polycarbonate by rubbing it on a piece of old carpet.
danderson
What about scratches and stuff that inevitably end up on the lip no matter how hard you try to keep them off?
mark poulson
I just sand/file and fish. The edge of the bill is so thin, and is usually digging into something, anyway. Now, if you're making lures for sale, that's a whole 'nother deal. I can see how polishing would be important, but I'd probably try to finde a solvent for the poly, and then just dip it to get rid of the scratches after shaping, filing, and wet sanding.
