Welcome to TU !

Check My link , there is "The Canadian Guide to Luremaking" in the free download section available , but this is rather a brief describtion for any kind of lures , but not bad for basic knowledge !

You may also go to My link , this is a Dutch site(English version available)about luremaking , quite a few describtions and patterns accessible there .

If you wanna build a sinking pike/muskie glider , I recommend the model named "The Roach" in there , it's original name is "Heiddy" . An "easy build/easy fish" lure , perfect for the beginner , and also a proven catcher !

Also some useful stuff to be found on http://www.tacklemaking.com/

Further I can recommend this book : http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Book-Tackle-Making/dp/1558217215

Deals on any kind of lures as well , about 1/3 of the book is on rod making .

Otherwise you may also check out some instructional videos on My link , utilize the search function with terms like "luremaking" , "lurebuilding" , "making lures",.......and the like !

Here is a nice example from Finland : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjmefnZ13YQ

Off course you may also utilize the search function of this site , virtually anything about making lures at home has already been discussed in here , you only ought to find the info .

good luck starting out , ..........greetz , diemai :yay:
