I have decided to build some crankbaits with lexan diving lips. My question is...when do I epoxy in the lip? before/after painting? before/after first application of clearcoat? after final clearcoat? BobP Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 I like to do it after painting but before clearcoating. It's mostly a personal choice of what you think looks best.
