wtfooptimax200
Hey Everyone, I am trying to paint a decent representation of a Green Tilapia. I have only seen them in pics, so I am looking for any constructive criticism that you all may have on how to improve this bait. I haven't added eyes or clear coat yet because I am not entirely happy with it yet and may wash the paint off and start over. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Branden
tigerfire
The challenge with a tilapia is that the face pattern is usually different from the rest of the body. Also, I would try to make the dark lines along the body different sizes if possible. More prominent in the middle and smaller as you go toward the tail. The color looks close, I would go with a little more green though. Just my 2 cents.
.dsaavedra.
i would get rid of the first strip and put a gill in its place. also, spray the dark stripes though scale mesh to break them up a bit. looks good otherwise!
